Boldog Karácsonyt! Merry Christmas!!!
Sometimes really special experiences happen during the week that I would love to somehow convey to each of you. That's how Enikő's baptism was last Sunday.
We had a meeting with the church's Gather & Nurture project developers and our mission was selected as one of 10 to help test different functions of running some Facebook features called Lead Generation ads. There was a meeting with our media team and the Ruckers. It will take a couple of months of programing and such as we on-board and I'm excited to learn more. This is a really interesting opportunity to see modern technology connect with sharing the gospel. And it really is only the beginning!
Well, between Enikő and Facebook we still found time to make and deliver cookies and muffins multiple times, meet with the District Leaders and Zone Leaders about their upcoming transfer video projects (23 meetings), and decorate our apartment for Christmas. It's the most wonderful time of the year! :)
Last year during my first transfer in Hungary I read a Liahona article called "Why Christmas is a great time to be a Missionary". Now coming to a second Christmas as a missionary I promise I really do finally believe it :) I am so grateful for the warmth and light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It really does lighten and brighten lives.
Boldog Karácsonyt!
Love,

P.S. Our next preparation day will be Christmas day!
P.P.S. The email subject 'pipacs' is based on a Hungarian legend that a member told us that poppies grew from Christ's blood below the cross which is why they are so vibrantly red and dainty. A special memory of my Grandma Hunsaker, too <3
Pictures:
I'll just send a bunch this week. We also went to Budapest to film/record a Silent Night (Csendes Éj) video to be posted on Christmas Eve!
