| Where my MTC experience started! |
The highlights of this week were not anything big or grand. Rather, small and simple moments were the most memorable. Allen nővér and I have been reading A Mormon Könyve (The Book of Mormon). We read it together every morning before we exercise, after meals, during breaks in class, and while walking the halls of T-2 floor 5. Some of my favorite memories of the MTC are from fun moments of trying to figure out a sentence, walking and walking and walking the halls as we read, or feeling the Spirit testify of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon even though we don't understand everything. On Monday morning, we read 3 Nephi 11 when the Savior appears to the Nephites and invites them to feel the prints of the nails in His hands and feet. The gospel is true in every language, and I'm grateful the Hungarians can read these beautiful truths.

Another profound moment of the week was at the Sunday evening devotional. They played the new nativity video "The Christ Child" which will be officially released on November 24th! It is so simplistically beautiful and powerful! The words spoken are the language Mary, Joseph, and Christ spoke in their day. It is worth watching and sharing! #LightTheWorld

Allen nővér and I are usually studying in our classroom right around the time the sun sets each evening. Elder Youngblood always runs in really excited and we all run down the hall to look out big windows overlooking the valley. This week's sunsets were gorgeous! (See picture below)

| Such good halls for studying and reading :) I wish we had kept track of laps! |
Allen nővér and I have learned how to say "hello" in...
Hungarian: Szia!
Persian: Salome! سلام
Albania: C'kemi!
Mandarin: Ni hao! 你好
Dutch: Hallo!
Slovak: Ahoj!
Samoan: Talofa!
One of my favorite phrases from Preach My Gospel is,
"As your understanding of the Savior's sacrifice, also known as the Atonement of Jesus Christ, grows, your desire to share the gospel will increase. You will feel, as Lehi did, the "great .. importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth (2 Nephi 2:8)" (PMG 2).

So, in honor of Thanksgiving in 2 weeks, hálás vagyok (I am grateful) for these learning experiences, a wonderful district and teachers, Allen nővér, my family, the MTC, Hungary, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, and so much more.
Love,
Emma Rae
