Quick covid-19 update for Hungary:
The count on Friday was 1310 (relatively low compared to most places to be honest). The government announced Friday that the 2 week quarantine has been extended indefinitely. Missionaries with respiratory health concerns have been sent home, and it's a blessing to be able to leave our apartment to exercise and shop. Our mission president, the Europe Area Presidency, and the church's Missionary Department frequently send out ideas, resources, and guidelines as we learn how to do "online proselyting". We get daily emails from the Europe Area Presidency with training and experiences from other missions. From what we've heard, we will continue missionary work inside for the next 2 or 3 transfers. I'm grateful for technology and that we can continue helping our friends even more frequently than we used to. There's still a lot of unknowns but for now we'll keep doing all we can!

-We asked our friend Dávid for referrals and he video called us later with his friend who's a Hungarian Olympic speed skater! He wasn't very interested, but said to watch for him in the winter Olympics 2022 haha.
-In an online conversation this week with a lady from Turkey, she mentioned finding a long lost cousin on Facebook, so we started talking about family history and gave her the information for familysearch.org
We've scheduled to video call on Wednesday to help her get started!
-We had prepared to teach about the Plan of Salvation in a lesson with one of Gillette nővér's investigators from Érd, but when the lesson started, Iza said that her husband also wants to meet with us and get baptized. We almost fell off our chairs we were so shocked. None of us had ever heard that before! We'll teach them both together as they prepare. Miracles from Corona virus!
-As we talked with our friends this week about General Conference, multiple mentioned how the first talk by M. Russell Ballard was very touching. They hadn't realized how much Hyrum and Jospeh sacrificed together during the early days of the Restoration. The Restoration focus of General Conference was powerful for many investigators!
-I messaged one person in a Budapest Facebook group in Hungarian but they responded in Spanish, so we responded by saying, "Do you speak English, German, Chinese, or Arabic?" Sadly, just Spanish. But thanks to Google translate we could communicate back and forth a little :)
