Légy vidám! - June 22, 2020

Szeged is usually the sunshine city, but it rains every single day! So green and fresh.
Ja napot kívánom!

On Sunday I met some of the ward members I haven't met before in person, and it was really exciting to finally see them in person, especially Éva. She helps in a lot of our lessons with Antal and always calls us when we text her about anything. When I first saw her walk in I just felt so excited because I've only seen the top half of her face because she uses a little old computer every Sunday for church. People in person are so much better :)

Game night on Friday was a great evening with quite a few young single adults--both ward members and non members. The medical school finals are slowly ending so more and more people are able to come. They all looked so relieved to be done with this year's finals! The Knowlton's made sloppy Joe's and everyone talked on the back lawn for a long time then we sat in a big circle and played signs. It's such a fun night of the week that we always look forward, especially because the youth in this ward are so so good.

On Wednesday (my mission half way mark!) we took the long way home to get a smoothie 😋
Tyler nővér and I were trying to decide what makes Szeged such a great city to serve in. Every missionary who serves here falls in love with it! I think there's just a different, uplifting, cheerful mentality here that makes it a very pleasant place to serve. I'm so grateful to be here and to be a missionary! I can't believe I have served nine months. It's going way too fast!

ALSO! My brother is getting married this week! I love you, Ben and Dani and I'll be thinking about and praying for you!

Love,
Emma Rae
